Nie Mingjue

Nie Huaisang — His baby brother. Would absolutely spoil him if asked to but refuses any expensive gifts. He'd rather spend time with Huaisang over receiving any gift.
Meng Yao — Used to dislike him due to being (what he considers) the cause of Huaisang's scandal. Eventually mellowed out and became good friends with him. Also refuses any expensive gifts from him.
Lan Xichen — Family friends, grew apart a little during highschool due to his father's death but Xichen supported him through it. Close again in college. Again, no expensive gifts.
Wei Wuxian — A good friend of Huaisang's, his drinking partner (at times).
